About the initiative

STEM Professionals in Schools is a free national program that facilitates partnerships between teachers and science, technology, engineering and maths (STEM) professionals to bring real-world STEM to life. The program aim is to:

  • increase student enthusiasm and knowledge of STEM

  • support teachers in their delivery of the Australian Curriculum

Curriculum Alignment

Over 10 000 students will engage with our lessons this year in NSW and VIC. Robokids have updated our lesson modules, in particular our NSW programs align to the new Science and Technology curriculum. All Robokids lessons are aligned with national and specific state curriculums. This includes the new NSW Science and Technology syllabus.

Vex Robotics competitions

Robokids are offering VEX afterschool programs for Years 5 & 6, to take students through to competitions in Sydney . Our first programs are well underway with students gearing up for regional competitions to be held later in the year. More details to come.

Free Lesson Plans

Click here if you have robotic equipment and would like a free lesson plan with aligned outcomes for your Scope and Sequence program. Please send an email to info@robokids.com.au with the year levels and we will email them through.
